*giggle*

I found this while surfing google.
It's like they're own rendition of corpse paint. I know I shouldn't giggle at this but there is a ridiculous quality about the picture-and its not because they're black it's just corny.

Opinion?

I went and seen a Band called Straight Line Stitch. Their singer is a black woman and she is awesome. I love this band and I love the style of Alexes Brown (singer). Wish there were more ethnic men and women in metal. So cool that you made this page.

Wow, this blog is great! Way back in the late 80's early 90's, I was a black girl into Heavy Metal. You may want to check out one of my posts

Straight Line Stitch is a hardcore metal band, not black metal band. The only band of good black metal who has a black member is Blasphemy, a band of Canada with a sound black metal/grindcore.
Why ?
As I have already said it, it is a question of inheritance, root and tradition. Black metal was born in the Norwegian forests, not in urban culture (as the most part of the bands of hardcore metal), with topics very centered on paganism European, Scandinavian, on Satanism AND the land, the earth. Do you understand ? First band of Black Metal is Bathory, which speaks about Satanism AND Valhalla. It’s why there is Black metal AND Pagan metal. Two are inseparable. Satan, in the bands of black metal, often refers to the ancient pagan Gods.
@Narsilion-Hmmm...I think that guy was just throwing in a random comment about that band relating to this blog and not the actual music genre in general. This blog is about metal in general-not just the kind that I enjoy. I do believe I understand what your saying.
Not many black (or urban) people are in black/Pagan metal bands or into that music because its based in Scandanavian Paganism and nature, etc. As well as that Bathory is the reason that there is Black metal and Pagan metal?
But I'm confused how that relates to Straight Line Stitch...
